For over 40 years, Campania has designed and manufactured its cast stone products in the United States and for over 20 years has imported glazed, terra cotta and metal containers, fountains and garden accents from multiple countries in Europe and Asia. With the rapid growth of its import line, Campania’s CEO, Glenn Appel, recognized the importance of establishing a Campania owned sourcing and manufacturing facility in Asia and in 2019 established Campania Vietnam located just outside Ho Chi Minh City. Campania chose Vietnam because of its long-standing tradition of artisanal ceramic and terra cotta production. Additionally, Vietnam is one of the most promising economic powerhouses of Southeast Asia and can support the demands of a growing business with a talented and plentiful workforce, a strong commitment to innovation and technology, and a favorable climate for business development.
After only 2 years in operation, Campania Vietnam outgrew its original warehouse and in 2023 expanded into an 8,000 square meter warehouse, distribution and manufacturing facility which includes 2 operating gas kilns. The addition of these new gas kilns allows Campania to achieve its long-standing goal of manufacturing its own glazed and terra cotta products in Vietnam. With its own manufacturing capability and its talented Vietnamese team, Campania, unlike its competitors, can directly control the production, quality and cost of its glazed products and, under the direction of its Creative Director, Peter Cilio, can create exclusive and innovative designs, colors and glazes, available only from Campania. Although Campania still sources high quality products from the best producers in Vietnam, Campania’s own production of fine quality glazed products is fast becoming a major part of the Campania Vietnam product line, which includes over 400 styles and products in over 50 colors and finishes.
Campania maintains hundreds of in-stock products in its warehouse and offers a large selection of containers, fountains and garden accessories in glazed, terra cotta and earthenware as well as many custom options. Discounted pricing is offered direct to the retailers for orders which can range from full containers to as little as 2 pallets direct from our 8,000 square foot warehouse in Vietnam.

Campania’s glazed and terra cotta products are high-fired at a temperature of 1100 degrees centigrade to ensure frost resistance and are tested for stability, durability, and freeze-thaw to ensure that they are appropriate for commercial installations and home gardens alike. Additionally, we routinely inspect our products throughout our manufacturing process to ensure standards are being met.
